Space4cyclingBNE is a coalition of Brisbane’s grass root cycling advocacy groups with the aim of making cycling an issue for all levels of government. We share a vision for Brisbane where it is easy, convenient, and safe for people of all ages and abilities to walk or ride a bicycle to their destination.

We aim to have positive impacts both in the short term and far into the future, protecting and enhancing the relaxed lifestyle that Brisbane has long been known for.

Space4cyclingBNE is made up of the following organizations:

Brisbane Airport BUG	Brisbane Airport Bicycle User Group We campaign for better facilities, safer roads and easier access for cyclists and pedestrians to Brisbane Airport. Our mission is: To promote the creation of safe, direct and convenient bicycle and pedestrian access to the Brisbane Airport. To advocate for cyclists and pedestrians who commute to and travel within the Brisbane Airport precinct. To work with authorities and the airport community to educate and lobby for improved bicycle and pedestrian access and facilities.
Brisbane CBD BUG	Brisbane CBD Bicycle User Group Brisbane CBD Bicycle User Group campaigns for better facilities, safer roads and easier access for all cyclists who travel to, from, or through Brisbane’s Central Business District.
Brisbane North BUG	Brisbane North Bicycle User Group We are a voluntary community group, actively working for better conditions for all cyclists. We represent people of all ages and abilities who ride bicycles for transport, leisure or sport.The Brisbane North BUG covers the northern suburbs of Brisbane with a focus on the roll-out and completion of the Northern Brisbane bike way.
EaST BUG	Easy and Sustainable Transport Bicycle Users Group (EaST BUG) A community based, volunteer run organisation representing the interests of people who ride in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane. We advocate for safer conditions and better facilities for cycling, whether that be to get to work or school, visit a friend, get to shops and services or just get out and ride for the sheer joy of it. We are committed to working constructively with all interested parties towards that end. The geographic area we represent covers the Brisbane City Council area south of the Brisbane River and east of the Pacific Motorway. This covers the council wards of Chandler, Coorparoo, Doboy, Holland Park, Macgregor, Morningside, The Gabba, Wishart and Wynnum Manly.
Brisbane West BUG	Brisbane West Bicycle User Group (West BUG) West BUG was launched in October 2015.  The BUG is a community based, volunteer run organisation representing the interests of people who ride or would like to ride bicycles in the western suburbs of Brisbane. The BUG lobbies for dedicated cycling infrastructure and improved overall riding conditions.
Brisbane South BUG	Brisbane South BUG A community group for people interested in coming together to promote and advocate for better cycling options in the southern suburbs of Brisbane
