Brisbane Bicycle Film Night

This annual event is a fundraising and social event for Space for Cycling Brisbane so that we can continue with our campaign. It is a great opportunity to chat and meet other keen bicycle riders. Previous editions of this event have sold out, so make sure you get your tickets early for an event which helps to give people on bicycles a voice in Brisbane.

  • Option to arrive in style by joining the Style Over Speed Ride from King George Square, at 5:00pm
  • Movie night welcome 6:00pm at Queensland Multicultural Centre Theatre.

In 2023 we will be showcasing the finalists in our short film competition Brisbane Bike Bites and announcing the winner.

And we’re excited to announce that our 2023 feature film will be The Engine Inside – A Documentary About Using Bicycles To Build A Better Future

We can’t wait! Meanwhile, enjoy some memories of previous Film Nights.

Getting more people on bicycles in our community requires a multi-prong approach that includes infrastructure, governmental support, advocacy and a key element: fun ways to socialize and get involved. After all, it can’t be all work and no play!
