This annual event is a fundraising and social event for Space for Cycling Brisbane so that we can continue with our campaign. It is a great opportunity to chat and meet other keen bicycle riders. The last couple of years the event has sold out, so make sure you get your tickets early for an event which helps to give people on bicycles a voice in Brisbane.

2021 Event details: Saturday 29 May 2021

  • Option to arrive in style by joining the Style Over Speed Ride from King George Square, at 3:30pm
  • Cargo Bike Expo: 5pm – 6pm, UQ Centre, Building 27A, University of Queensland, St Lucia
  • Movie night welcome 6:00pm. UQ Centre, Building 27A, University of Queensland, St Lucia

In 2021 we will be showcasing the finalists in our short film competition Brisbane Bike Bites and announcing the winner. We will also be bringing you the feature film Together We Cycle.

Getting more people on bicycles in our community requires a multi-prong approach that includes infrastructure, governmental support, advocacy and a key element: fun ways to socialize and get involved. After all, it can’t be all work and no play!
