Cr Danita Parry

Stephen and Andrew from Brisbane North BUG recently went for a ride with Councillor Danita Parry, the LNP candidate for Marchant Ward. When Danita previously lived at Windsor she used to ride to the city on weekends, however the arrival of children changed that. As they say, it’s like riding a bike and Danita was quick to relearn her handling skills. She even had the pleasure of testing out an e-bike (which she really liked).

On the ride they went from the Kedron Brook Bikeway up to the North Brisbane Bikeway via Bradshaw and Wellington Streets and got to experience first hand the challenges of the current infrastructure that doesn’t help people choose active transport options.

At the North Brisbane Bikeway Danita saw first hand the diverse range of people and bikes; all things from cargo bikes to everyday people and kids riding around.
