Cr Vicki Howard

It’s easy to recognise people and stop for a chat when you travel by bike! Belinda caught up with Cr Vicki Howard (LNP candidate for Central Ward) at a mobile office in Bowen Hills on the way home from the Breakfast Creek green bridge opening event. We know Brisbane CBD BUG have a meeting lined up to talk with Cr Howard about a range of issues specific to Central Ward, but for now we wanted to emphasise the need to extend the CityLink Cycleway – especially into Fortitude Valley which is currently a real black-spot for active transport.

Cr Howard is not a bike rider, but did admit she was curious to try an electric tricycle. Fortunately we have just the right contacts at EveryBody Electric Bikes, with a range of electric trikes assembled right here in Brisbane!
